  • Paid parking is available in the underground carpark at the Barbican centre. This carpark is part of the Laurence street shopping centre.

    Access is available from Peter Street or Palace street. Full days rate is 7.50euros

    Note the carpark closes at 6.45 pm on Saturday & 6.30pm on Sunday.

  • YES! If you play an instrument do bring it along. Also dont forget to bring a pen & notebook also.

  • YES, we will provide light refreshments throughout the day & there will be a lunch break.

    There are lots of options for lunch in the Laurence street shopping centre & on the street in Drogheda.

  • YES, your ticket will cover both Saturday & Sunday, just keep your wrist band attached.

  • YES, we have partnered up with accommodation providers for discounts to festival attendees, The Marcy Hotel & Peggy Moores. Go here for more information on accommodation.

    Use the “Drogheda Songwriting Festival” as an identifier to obtain the discounted prices.

  • YES, we will be getting together in Peggy Moores for drinks & an informal jam session with all the mentors where you can continue to network with fellow participants.

  • YES, Drogheda is packed with lots of interesting things to do & some of the most significant historic sites in Ireland are very close at hand. You can find more information here.

  • We have carefully curated all our festival plans to avoid unnecessary changes but if we do have to make any changes to the schedule we will ensure that this information is posted very clearly on all our social media sites, so please visit our social media sites & follow us to keep up to date.

  • This festival is all about songwriting & we will be encouraging people to co-write with others so you will without doubt find a musician who needs a writer!
